I finished up my Nutkin socks this morning. This is my fourth pair of the year! I hope you don't get sick of seeing my knit socks, because I'm not even close to being over my current obsession. Plus, I live in a place where it is cold and snowy for approximately 6 months of the year, so I don't think I'll ever have enough warm socks!
This was a fun and easy knit. I used Smooshy by Dream in Color yarn in Flamingo Pink. I'm really into coral/pink, perfect for spring right? More information here.
Happy weekend!

PS - I finished up my Crackle quilt a couple weeks ago, for all of you who have asked. Pictures coming soon! We had a crazy snowstorm this week, and I couldn't bear to take anymore snowy quilt pictures. :)

Great sox ;-) Beautiful color !
ReplyDeleteyay! love those nutkins! i'm obsessed with knitting in general right now, and thanks to you and angela...totally obsessed with socks!
ReplyDeleteOooh...those look so warm and cozy! And I love that color! I don't think I will get tired of seeing your new socks. ;) Keep making them! It inspires me. I still haven't finished my first pair...they are put on hold while I finish a couple more urgent projects. But I can't wait to try out some of these lovely patterns you've been making!

Your socks turned out beautiful!!! I love that color!!! I'll have to check my lys and see if they have it. I also added the pattern to my Ravelry favorites. I think I'll do the top like you did. I think they'll stay up better that way :)
ReplyDeleteThey turned out gorgeous! I just got some more (more, more, more!) sock yarn today and I'm debating on starting a pair with it or knitting another pair of the chunky ones I knit before (they are sooo comfy).
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful and look very cozy!
ReplyDeleteI'll never get tired of seeing all your knitted socks! You have so much patience. These are beautiful!

ReplyDeleteThey look great! I'd forgotten that I've got that pattern on my to-knit list.
ReplyDeleteLove all your socks. Unfortunately, I virtually never need socks for warmth down here in Texas.
ReplyDeleteKeep on sharing!!
Lovely color for spring, yet toasty warm.
